Autopano - External plugins


If you have installed external plugins during the Autopano Giga installation, it is now possible to import photos from the corresponding software to Autopano.
The concept is that modifications provided for each image are keeping from these image processing software to Autopano Giga.



Autopano Giga Lightroom plugin

This module allows you to export your photos from Adobe Lightroom to Autopano. You can process your photos from Lightroom and send them directly in Autopano Giga, it will create a corresponding group of images.


Export to Autopano

After you select your photos (2 minimum), you can export your photos:


Either via the main menu -> File/Export... Or via the contextual menu (right click on the photos) -> Export/Export...

Click on Export... will open an exporting interface, containing several possibilities, including the setting to export to Autopano Giga:

Preset

Select Autopano Giga to access the export settings to Autopano Giga. The interface offers 2 types of export, in the list on the left:

  • JPG (export to jpeg format)
  • TIFF16 (export to tiff 16 bits format)


Settings

Regardless of the selected format, the interface provides a list of settings:

  • Export location : Lets choose the location where the photos to export will be copied.
  • File naming : Lets define the name of the files to export.
  • File settings : Lets define the format and its settings.
  • Image sizing : Allows to set the output size of the files to export.
  • Output sharpening : Lets set the files resolution.
  • Metadata : Allows to define the metadatas of the files.


Troubleshooting

Autopano Giga LR Plugin is not installed



Autopano Giga Bridge plugin

This module allows you to export your photos from Adobe Bridge to Autopano. You can process your photos from your Bridge library and send them directly in Autopano Giga, it will create a corresponding group of images.


Export to Autopano

After you select your photos (2 minimum), you can export your photos via the main menu: Tools/Autopano Giga/Stitch...

Direct Export; without any files changes

  • The files will be copied into a folder named Developed, created in the folder of the source images folder (original files).
  • The copied files will be identical to the original files (same format, same exif datas, same ICC profile... etc...).


Export after modifications

  • The files will be copied into a folder called Developed, created in the folder of the source images folder (original files).
  • The copied files correspond to the current state of the files in Bridge (changes taken into account).
  • The copied files will be converted to jpeg, whatever the format of the original files.



Picasa plugin

This module allows you to export your photos from Picasa to Autopano. You can process your photos from your Picasa library and send them directly in Autopano Giga, it will create a corresponding group of images.


Configuration

Before using this plugin, you must prior enabling it in Picasa via the main menu: Tools/Configure buttons...

A window opens to configure the Picasa interface, to make the tools available in the lower part of the interface.
Autopano Giga is available but not yet defined. To activate it, simply click onAdd.
Autopano then moves through the list of the current buttons. It is also displayed and available in the lower part of the interface.

After you select your photos (2 minimum), click on the Autopano Giga button in the lower part of the interface to send your selection directly in Autopano Giga.
